Autoantibody predictors of gastrointestinal symptoms in systemic sclerosis

Summary: This study aimed to assess the prevalence and burden of SSc-related gastrointestinal dysfunction (SSc-GI) and evaluate its associations with demographic, clinical, and serological characteristics. Additionally, hallmark antibodies such as ACA and ARA may predict an increased risk of SSc-GI disease, while PM-Scl may have a protective effect.
