IrRep: Symmetry eigenvalues and irreducible representations of ab initio band structures

Mikel Iraola et al.

Summary: We present IrRep, a Python code that calculates the symmetry eigenvalues and irreducible representations of electronic Bloch states in crystalline solids. IrRep can take as input bandstructures computed with various Density Functional Theory codes and is applicable to a wide range of space groups and double groups. With its flexible structure, IrRep is particularly suitable for interface with other plane-waves based codes.
