Ultraviolet-Assisted Low-Thermal-Budget-Driven α-InGaZnO Thin Films for High-Performance Transistors and Logic Circuits

Yongchun Zhang et al.

Summary: This study proposes a low-temperature fabrication strategy for high-performance alpha-IGZO TFTs using an ultraviolet-assisted oxygen ambient rapid thermal annealing method (UV-ORTA). The experimental results show that the UV-ORTA treatment effectively suppresses defects and produces high-quality films similar to those treated at high temperatures. The alpha-IGZO/HfAIO TFTs fabricated using this method exhibit high-performance and low-voltage operation at a low temperature of 180 degrees C. A low-voltage resistor-loaded unipolar inverter based on the alpha-IGZO/HfAIO TFT demonstrates full swing characteristics and a high gain of 13.8.

Underwater Multispectral Computational Imaging Based on a Broadband Water-Resistant Sb2Se3 Heterojunction Photodetector

Yujin Liu et al.

Summary: Exploration, utilization, and protection of marine resources are essential for the survival and development of mankind. However, existing underwater imaging technologies face challenges such as information loss, low contrast, and color distortion. In this study, we propose an underwater multispectral computational imaging system that combines single-photodetector imaging algorithm technology and a CdS/Sb2Se3 heterojunction photodetector. This system overcomes the limitations of traditional imaging systems, providing more flexible possibilities and enhanced imaging capabilities for underwater imaging.

Facile fabrication of ZnO nanorods modified Fe3O4 nanoparticles with enhanced magnetic, photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic properties

Yanfen Wang et al.

Summary: Novel Fe3O4/ZnO magnetic nanocomposites with hierarchical morphology were synthesized by a facile two-step liquid chemical method. The composites showed a large specific surface area, enhanced optical response, and excellent superparamagnetic property. They exhibited higher adsorption capacity to Rhodamine B dyes and superior photocatalytic efficiency for RhB degradation under UV light, as well as more efficient magnetic separation and better photoelectrochemical property than individual oxide. The favorable photocatalytic activity was attributed to the synergistic effect of unique microstructure, large surface area, and strong light absorption.
