Effect of Nd on structural, optical and magnetic behaviour of TiO2 nanoparticles

N. Nithyaa et al.

Summary: Nd-doped TiO2 nanoparticles of different concentrations were synthesized using a wet chemical route, and their structural, optical, and magnetic properties were examined. The results showed differences in crystal structure and magnetic behavior between Nd-doped TiO2 samples and pure TiO2, demonstrating interesting interactions between the dopant and host lattice.

Luminescent and structural behaviour of Tb+3 ions doped TiO2 nanoparticles synthesized by facile sol-gel method

Yogita Kumari et al.

Summary: Terbium doped titania nanoparticles were synthesized with varying concentrations of Tb+3 ions using the sol-gel method. The crystallite size decreased with increasing Tb+3 ions concentration, while the absorption showed a slight red shift and the band gap decreased after doping. The photoluminescence intensity initially increased with Tb+3 concentration, but decreased with further addition due to cluster formation.

The electrical modulus, conductivity and dielectric properties of Mn3TeO6 multiferroic compound

S. J. Sondarva et al.

Summary: In this study, the complex oxide Mn3TeO6 (MTO) compound was synthesized using solid-state reaction method at high processing temperature. The material was characterized in terms of structure, morphology, and electrical properties. The dielectric constant and conductivity of the compound were found to increase with temperature, indicating a correlated barrier hopping mechanism responsible for conduction.

The pivotal role of TiO2 layer thickness in optimizing the performance of TiO2/P-Si solar cell

H. Elsaeedy et al.

Summary: In this study, TiO2 thin films of different thicknesses were successfully synthesized, and their effects on structural, optical, electrical, and photovoltaic properties were investigated. Results showed that increasing the thickness of the film led to larger grain sizes, reduced lattice strain, and decreased optical bandgap. The study also explored the performance optimization of TiO2/p-Si solar cells by examining various characteristics and parameters.

Capacitance response of solar cells based on amorphous Titanium dioxide (A-TiO2) semiconducting heterojunctions

Hmoud Al-Dmour

Summary: The study investigated the capacitance frequency response of amorphous titanium dioxide (A-TiO2)/poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) solar cells, revealing evidence of a depletion region at the P3HT/ATiO2 interface. Peaks in the loss tangent were observed as a function of applied voltage, influencing charge transport mechanisms at the interface. The resulting C-V curves were used to calculate dopant concentration and barrier potential, confirming the presence of a depletion region and its effect on open circuit voltage.

S. Mustapha et al.

Summary: This study synthesized TiO2 nanoparticles using a sol-gel method, examining the effects of stirring time and solution pH on morphology, phase types, and crystallite sizes. The results indicated that stirring time and solution pH significantly influenced the crystallite sizes, but not the phase types.
