Improving Cotton Yield, Water Use and Net Income in Different Drip Irrigation Systems Using Real-Time Crop Evapotranspiration

Oner cetin et al.

Summary: The study aimed to improve irrigation water use and cotton yield by comparing the effects of surface drip and subsurface drip irrigation. Results showed that subsurface drip irrigation significantly increased cotton yield and saved water. Irrigation scheduling based on real crop evapotranspiration was more effective in water saving and improving water productivity.
