Summary: The one-pot preparation of nickel cobalt telluride nanorods (NiCoTe NRs) using hydrothermal method with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and ascorbic acid as reducing agents was successfully demonstrated. The NCT-1 NRs showed promising applications in electrochemical hydrogen evolution and hybrid supercapacitors, displaying good performance in terms of electrocatalytic activity and cyclic stability.
