Baher I. Salman

Summary: Community-acquired pneumonia is a common infectious disease with high mortality and morbidity worldwide. Eravacycline (ERV) was approved by the FDA in 2018 for the treatment of bacterial infections. A green fluorimetric approach utilizing plum juice and copper sulphate was developed for the estimation of ERV in various samples. The method showed high sensitivity and selectivity, with a wide calibration range and low detection limits. The Cu-N@CQDs used in the method were characterized and successfully applied in human plasma and milk samples.
