Clinical significance of anti-NOR90 antibodies in systemic sclerosis and idiopathic interstitial pneumonia

Yuta Yamashita et al.

Summary: Objective Anti-NOR90 antibodies are rarely found in clinics, but their detection through ELISA can be useful. This study found that anti-NOR90 antibodies were more frequently detected in patients with systemic scleroderma-spectrum disorders (SSDs) and systemic scleroderma (SSc). Additionally, the presence of anti-NOR90 antibodies in SSc and idiopathic interstitial pneumonia (IIP) patients may be associated with interstitial lung disease (ILD) and cancer. Further studies are needed to confirm these associations.
