Multi-layer ZIF-67/graphite nanosheets and Co3O4/GNs composites were successfully obtained, with the calcination temperature significantly affecting the EM absorption performance. The composites showed the best EM wave absorption performance at 350 degrees C, demonstrating strong absorption intensity and attractive EM wave absorbing material properties.

Biomass-derived carbon decorated with Ni0.5Co0.5Fe2O4 particles towards excellent microwave absorption performance

Summary: In this study, a high-efficiency microwave absorber was prepared by decorating pomelo peel-carbon with Ni0.5Co0.5Fe2O4 particles using a simple physical blending method. The absorber exhibited a skeleton structure formed by biomass carbon (BC), which improved the conductive loss and extended the propagation path of electromagnetic waves. The absorber also had a high quantity of defects and heterogeneous interfaces, which contributed to interfacial polarization and dipole polarization. Additionally, the good dispersion of Ni0.5Co0.5Fe2O4 particles on BC facilitated the combination of dielectric and magnetic properties, resulting in impedance matching.

Fabrication of bimetallic metal-organic frameworks derived cobalt iron alloy@carbon-carbon nanotubes composites as ultrathin and high-efficiency microwave absorbers

Summary: In this study, nitrogen-doped cobalt iron alloy@carbon-carbon nanotubes (CoFe alloy@C-CNTs) composites were fabricated using an aging and pyrolysis two-step method. The composites exhibited a unique four-pointed star morphology with CoFe alloy nanoparticles uniformly embedded in the porous carbon matrix. The microwave absorption properties of the composites were significantly influenced by the pyrolysis temperature, and the composite treated at 700.0 degrees C showed the best absorption performance. The possible electromagnetic attenuation loss mechanisms of the composites were also elucidated.

This study successfully fabricated Fe-metal-organic framework derived iron nitride and carbon-based composites using a two-step method, combining the porous structure of metal-organic frameworks with the excellent electromagnetic properties of Fe4N. The formation of the Fe4N phase and the porous structure optimize impedance matching, significantly enhancing the electromagnetic wave absorption capacity of the composite.

PANI/BaFe12O19@Halloysite ternary composites as novel microwave absorbent

Synthesis of hollow spherical MoS2@Fe3O4-GNs ternary composites with enhanced microwave absorption performance
