The Importance of Right and Left Censoring in the Analysis of Retracted Articles Over Time

Summary: This study aims to systematically investigate the characteristics and trends of retractions in the field of cardiothoracic and vascular anesthesia. The results showed that scientific misconduct is the most common reason for retraction in this field, and the time to retraction and journal impact factor have significantly decreased over time.
