Ch Rayssi et al.

Summary: The complex impedance and complex modulus analysis of the polycrystalline perovskite structure Ca0.85Er0.1Ti(1-x)Co4x/3O3 (x = 0.15 and 0.20) ceramic were investigated using sol-gel reaction technology. The results revealed the mechanism of conduction and dynamic aspects of electrical transport phenomena in the material. The presence of grains, grain boundaries, and electrodes were observed, and a relaxation phenomenon was observed with frequency dependence.

Mixed Ionic and Electronic Conducting Eutectogels for 3D-Printable Wearable Sensors and Bioelectrodes

Matias L. Picchio et al.

Summary: Eutectogels are novel soft ion conductive materials with high adhesion, flexibility, nonvolatility, and reversible low-temperature gel transition for 3D printing manufacturing. Comprised of choline chloride/glycerol deep eutectic solvent, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): lignin sulfonate, and gelatin, these materials have high ionic and electronic conductivities and can be used as strain sensors and conformal electrodes. They show potential for applications in detecting physical movements and recording epidermal physiological signals over a long time.

Electrical relaxation and conduction behaviour in SmFeO3 modified PbZrTiO3 ceramics

Randeep Kaur et al.

Summary: (0.12)SmFeO3-(0.88)Pb(Zr0.45Ti0.55)O-3 solid solution was synthesized by solid state reaction route, and diffuse phase transition was observed in the studied sample. The electrical properties were investigated by impedance graphs at different frequencies and temperatures, revealing the contributions of bulk and grain boundary impedance. Non-localized conduction was observed in the normalized impedance and modulus spectra, suggesting a tiny polaron hopping process for the conduction mechanism.

The bulk-corner correspondence of time-reversal symmetric insulators

Sander Kooi et al.

Summary: This study establishes a bulk-corner correspondence for materials with time-reversal symmetry and spin-orbit coupling, using partial real-space invariants to reveal the topological properties of crystals. It shows that these previously unknown crystalline invariants govern the quantized corner charges of isolated material structures and heterostructures without gapless interface modes. Additionally, the partial real-space invariants are capable of detecting all time-reversal symmetric topological phases of the fragile type recently discovered.

The analysis of charge transport mechanism in mixed ionic electronic conductor composite of Sr2TiCoO6 double perovskite with yttria stabilized zirconia

Sudha Saini et al.

Summary: The ionic conduction mechanism in mixed ionic electronic conductors composites of Sr2TiCoO6/YSZ was studied using universal dynamic response. Analysis of AC Impedance spectroscopy and Modulus spectroscopy revealed that ion migration occurs through correlated hopping mechanism, with grain boundaries being more resistive and capacitive compared to the bulk. The time-temperature superposition principle was used to explain the conductivity scaling in the intermediate frequency range.
