A dendritic Ag induced by the polyaniline on copper sheet for facilely and highly efficient SERS detection

Runze Shen et al.

Summary: Special Ag nanoparticles with uniform distribution and dendritic morphology were synthesized on copper sheet by electrochemical deposition, facilitated by the induction of polyaniline (PANI). The obtained Cu/PANI/Ag sheet acted as a surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate for sensitive detection of malachite green (MG). The highly dispersed hot spots produced by the dendritic Ag and the N-Ag bond were helpful for the detection of trace MG. The Cu/PANI/Ag sheet exhibited high sensitivity, stability, and cost-effectiveness compared to traditional substrates.
