Review-A Review on the Anode and Cathode Materials for Lithium-Ion Batteries with Improved Subzero Temperature Performance

Bi2O3 nanospheres coated in electrospun carbon spheres derived Bi@C used as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries

Summary: In this study, core-shell Bi@C structure was successfully synthesized using Bi2O3 nanospheres wrapped in micron-sized carbon spheres. This composite material showed excellent cycling stability as an anode for lithium-ion batteries, with specific capacities of approximately 518 and 378 mAh g(-1) at current densities of 100 and 500 mA g(-1), respectively. The synthetic concept of this composite provides valuable insights for further research on anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
