Daily Work-Family Conflict and Burnout to Explain the Leaving Intentions and Vitality Levels of Healthcare Workers: Interactive Effects Using an Experience-Sampling Method

Luis Manuel Blanco-Donoso et al.

Summary: The intensification of work in global health systems may lead to increased work-family conflict, exhaustion, and intentions to leave in healthcare workers. Daily work-family conflict and burnout were found to be significantly associated with higher daily leaving intentions and lower levels of daily vitality among healthcare workers. The study underscores the importance of examining the psychosocial risks experienced by healthcare workers through experience-sampling methodologies to improve our understanding of their intentions to leave and psychological well-being.
