The results showed that these autoantibodies could serve as biomarkers for the early detection of HCC and they may monitor the transition of high-risk patients to HCC.

Summary: This case report describes a patient with Dubin-Johnson syndrome confirmed through genetic study. The patient presented with symptoms of calculous cholecystitis and during a cholecystectomy, a black-colored liver was noted. Liver biopsy results and genetic study confirmed the diagnosis of Dubin-Johnson syndrome. Conservative treatment was given and the patient showed stable liver function after one month of follow-up.

LIGHTHOUSE estimated protein-compound scores without relying on 3D structural information, incorporating known evolutionary relations and available experimental data. It successfully identified therapeutics for various diseases and predicted ethoxzolamide as a therapeutic for COVID-19, which was proven effective against different variants of SARS-CoV-2.

Antiviral Compounds Screening Targeting HBx Protein of the Hepatitis B Virus

Summary: In this study, antiviral compounds targeting HBx protein were identified by analyzing HBx binding activity. Tranilast, one of the identified compounds, was found to inhibit HBV replication and infection without affecting cell viability. These findings provide new insights into the development of drugs for the treatment of HBV infection.
