Nanoclays for wound management applications

This review focuses on the use of nanoclays in treating skin lesions, post-surgical wounds, burn wounds, and chronic ulcer skin wounds. Research studies and databases have shown the effectiveness of nanoclays in wound healing, but further in vivo toxicity studies are required.
