Statistical Inference of Truncated Normal Distribution Based on the Generalized Progressive Hybrid Censoring

Xinyi Zeng et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the parameter estimation problem of a truncated normal distribution based on the generalized progressive hybrid censored data. Maximum likelihood estimates and Bayesian estimates are derived and compared using different algorithms and methods. Extensive numerical simulations and an authentic example are used to illustrate the performance of different estimation methods.
