Novel RAB3GAP1 Mutation in the First Tunisian Family With Warburg Micro Syndrome

Nesrine Kerkeni et al.

Summary: Warburg Micro syndrome is a rare genetic disease with ocular, neurologic, and endocrine anomalies. A consanguineous Tunisian family with two affected males was found to have pathogenic variations in RAB3GAP1 and ABCD1, confirming the diagnosis of WARBM. Despite the mutation in ABCD1, the patients did not exhibit X-linked symptoms of adrenoleukodystrophy disorder.
