Summary: In this study, alginate was spun into helical fibers using the microfluidic method, and then packed with polyacrylamide to create a calcium alginate/PAM composite polymer membrane. This composite film greatly improved flexibility and stretchability, had good transparency and skin adhesion, and showed potential for wound dressing applications. The introduction of the helical shape also has reference significance for enhancing the elasticity and stretchability of other natural polymers limited by mechanical properties.

Summary: In this study, a novel highly sensitive colorimetric platform based on FeN/C SAzyme was designed for malathion assay. The synthesized SAzyme could directly oxidize 3,3,' 5,5 '-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) to generate oxidized TMB, which exhibited a blue color. The addition of malathion hindered the ACP activity and restored the catalytic activity of single-atom nanozyme, enabling the quantitative detection of malathion.

Summary: Light-based photothermal therapy (PTT) and photo-dynamic therapy (PDT) have great potential in wound healing and infection prevention. Multifunctional photoresponsive hydrogels (MPRHs) combining light and hydrogel advantages are increasingly used in biomedicine, particularly in wound repair. The modulation of bacterial microenvironments to inhibit infection through PTT, PDT, and photothermal/photodynamic synergistic therapy has been discussed.
