Predictive Tracking Under Persisten Disturbances and Data Errors Using H2 FIR Approach

Yuriy Shmaliy et al.

Summary: This article presents a robust predictor for industrial processes that ensures performance even under unspecified impacts and data errors. The predictor is tested in predictive tracking of a moving robot using ultrawideband technology, and it is found to be more robust than other predictors in various noise conditions.

Uncertain disturbed systems: Robust H2-OUFIR filtering under measurement errors

Juan J. Lopez Solorzano et al.

Summary: This article focuses on uncertain disturbed systems in linear discrete-time state-space with initial and measurement errors. It introduces a novel bias-constrained a posteriori H2$$ {H}_2 $$ optimal unbiased finite impulse response (OUFIR) state observer and a suboptimal bias-constrained H2$$ {H}_2 $$-FIR filtering algorithm using linear matrix inequality. The proposed OUFIR state observer achieves a better tradeoff between accuracy and robustness compared to other filters, verified by an example of an uncertain system and error matrices.

Robust H2-OFIR Filtering: Improving Tracking of Disturbed Systems Under Initial and Data Errors

Jorge A. Ortega-Contreras et al.

Summary: In this article, a novel approach is proposed to develop a robust H-2-OFIR filter for disturbed systems under initial and measurement errors. It is shown that the proposed filter outperforms other filters in terms of accuracy and robustness in GPS-based tracking of moving vehicles.

A Novel H2 Approach to FIR Prediction Under Disturbances and Measurement Errors

Jorge Ortega-Contreras et al.

Summary: A novel approach for H-2 FIR prediction and biased-constrained suboptimal H-2 FIR filtering algorithm are proposed. The performance of the H-2-OUFIR predictor is investigated and compared with Kalman and unbiased FIR predictors.
