The characterization analyses confirmed the incorporation of ZnO into the structure of Fe2O3, enhancing the catalytic performance. The optimized nanocatalyst showed a maximum biodiesel yield of 94.21%. It exhibited higher catalytic performance and stability compared to pure Fe2O3. Canola biodiesel with high oxygen content improved fuel combustion conditions.

This study compared and analyzed the molecular characteristics of shale oils produced at different final pyrolysis temperatures using multiple analysis and testing methods. The results showed that different detection methods have their advantages in characterizing the molecular properties of pyrolysis oils, and synergistic use of multiple methods is an important research direction for the molecular characterization of complex liquid fuel oil in the future.

Synthesis of magnetically solid base catalyst of NaOH/Chitosan-Fe3O4 for biodiesel production from waste cooking oil: Optimization, kinetics and thermodynamic studies

Additionally, a kinetic study revealed a pseudo-first-order kinetics with an activation energy of 21 kJ/mol, and thermodynamic calculations indicated values of 0.23 kJ/mol K for Delta S, 18.20 kJ/mol for Delta H, and 95.13 kJ/mol for Delta G.

Modelling and process optimization for biodiesel production from Nannochloropsis salina using artificial neural network
