The Influence of Geomagnetic Disturbance on Transient Power Angle Stability of Hybrid Systems

Yuan Si et al.

Summary: The reactive power loss of transformers caused by geomagnetically induced current has the characteristics of strong fluctuation and large total amount. This study analyzes the transient stability index and establishes a random fuzzy model for induced geoelectric field components. The results show that geomagnetic disturbance deteriorates the transient stability of the system, and the transient stability margin is the smallest when the wind power access ratio is about 50%.

On Fuzzy Simulations for Expected Values of Functions of Fuzzy Numbers and Intervals

Yuanyuan Liu et al.

Summary: This article introduces two innovative techniques for approximating the expected values of fuzzy numbers' monotone functions based on existing fuzzy simulation algorithms. Through numerical experiments, the superiority of these two novel techniques over others in terms of accuracy, stability, and efficiency is prominently displayed.
