Short and long-term reproductive outcomes after hysteroscopic adhesiolysis for infertile women

Saeed Baradwan et al.

Summary: This retrospective study analyzed the reproductive outcomes of 41 patients with Asherman syndrome who underwent hysteroscopic adhesiolysis. The overall conception rate after 24 months of follow-up was 53.6%, and the overall live birth rate was 34.2%. Patients with minimal intrauterine adhesions had a significantly higher pregnancy rate compared to those with moderate and severe adhesions.

Analysis of risk factors for obstetric outcomes after hysteroscopic adhesiolysis for Asherman syndrome: A retrospective cohort study

Yuxue Zhang et al.

Summary: Menstrual pattern and gestational history may be main predictive factors for pregnancy loss in pregnant women who previously underwent hysteroscopic adhesiolysis. The extent of cavity involved and times of adhesive separation surgeries were associated with placenta accreta.

Effects of Asherman Syndrome on Maternal and Neonatal Morbidity with Evaluation by Conception Method

Jennifer Wang et al.

Summary: The study examined maternal and neonatal morbidities in singleton births from patients previously treated for Asherman syndrome and found a higher incidence of certain risks in these pregnancies. However, there were no significant differences in perinatal outcomes based on conception method, whether through IVF or natural conception, after treatment with hysteroscopic adhesiolysis.

Live births after Asherman syndrome treatment

Miriam M. F. Hanstede et al.

Summary: The study found that the live birth rate after adhesiolysis in women with AS was 67.4%. Factors such as younger age, previous first-trimester procedure before AS, low adhesion grades, and no miscarriage after adhesiolysis strongly predicted the chances of a newborn delivery in women with AS.
