Experimental Study on Temperature Response of Different Ranks of Coal to Liquid Nitrogen Soaking

Shumin Liu et al.

Summary: The temperature curves of coal samples under liquid nitrogen soaking can be divided into accelerated cooling stage, decelerated cooling stage, and maintained low-temperature stage. With an increase in soaking times, the time required to reach the low-temperature stage gradually shortens. The heating/cooling speed follows a logarithmic function, and the order of absolute values is lignite > bituminite > anthracite.

Micro-structural Damage to Coal Induced by Liquid CO2 Phase Change Fracturing

Zhiwei Liao et al.

Summary: The technology of liquid carbon dioxide phase change fracturing (LCPCF) was used to enhance the permeability of coal seams. LCPCF had mechanical damage effects on coal micro-structures to varying degrees. HP-MIP results showed that LCPCF mainly affected pores of > 100 nm within coal and resulted in the increase in the number of macro-pores and micro-fractures.

Study on In Situ Stress Distribution Law of the Deep Mine: Taking Linyi Mining Area as an Example

Xuelong Li et al.

Summary: This study investigated the stress distribution characteristics of different coal mines in Linyi Mining Area, revealing the relationship between principal stresses and their variation with depth. Additionally, the research explored the impact of mine in situ stress on mine geological structure, stope stability, and floor water inrushing caused by original rock stress. The findings are believed to be beneficial for mine disaster prevention and safety production.

Mechanism and monitoring and early warning technology for rockburst in coal mines

Xue-qiu He et al.

Summary: The study highlights significant progress in the prevention and control of rockburst, but also identifies challenges with increasing mining depth. Improved monitoring and warning standards are needed, particularly in relation to complex induction factors and unclear mechanisms. Further research is recommended to explore the trend of rockburst and develop high-reliability sensing technology and equipment for future development.

AE waveform characteristics of rock mass under uniaxial loading based on Hilbert-Huang transform

Li Xue-long et al.

Summary: The study utilizes the Hilbert-Huang transform method to analyze AE waveforms, obtaining detailed structural characteristics of coal rock masses at different loading stages related to damage. The results show changes in energy distribution among different frequency components and indicate the main energy concentration areas in each stage.
