A systematic approach to decode the mechanism of Cornus in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)

Hai-yu Shen et al.

Summary: This study systematically investigated the pharmacological mechanism of Cornus in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) using network pharmacology. It identified active compounds, predicted biological targets, and beneficial target genes of Cornus for HCC. Molecular docking studies suggested that a compound in Cornus has potential in inducing apoptosis of HCC cells by targeting caspase-3.
