Can artificial intelligence pass the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists examination? Multi-reader diagnostic accuracy study

Summary: This study aimed to determine whether an artificial intelligence candidate could pass the rapid reporting component of the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists examination. The results showed that the AI candidate passed two out of ten mock examinations, while achieving a slightly lower accuracy rate compared to radiologists. Improvement in interpreting musculoskeletal cases could potentially enhance the AI candidate's radiographic interpretation skills.
