Effects of Nitrogen plus Sulfur Fertilization and Seeding Density on Yield, Rheological Parameters, and Asparagine Content in Old Varieties of Common Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

Quadratullah Soofizada et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the effects of different seeding density, nitrogen levels, and sulfur levels on "old" common wheat. The results showed that using 135 kg N and 6.4 kg S per hectare can improve the technical performance of wholegrain flour while maintaining low levels of ASN.

Yield response to soil test phosphorus in Switzerland: Pedoclimatic drivers of critical concentrations for optimal crop yields using multilevel modelling

Juliane Hirte et al.

Summary: Phosphorus management in agroecosystems requires balancing agronomy, ecology, and environmental protection. Swiss fertilization guidelines for arable crops are based on critical concentrations from two soil test methods, but actual crop P demand may be overestimated.
