Zn0.05CoOx with proper doping of Zn exhibited superior catalytic activity and durability. The presence of both BrOnsted and Lewis acid sites was beneficial for the degradation of cyclohexane, while only Lewis acid sites were responsible for the elimination of benzene and toluene. The chemical structure of the VOCs also played a role in their catalytic elimination.

Efficient bromine removal and metal recovery from waste printed circuit boards smelting flue dust by a two-stage leaching process
