Synchronization and state estimation for discrete-time coupled delayed complex-valued neural networks with random system parameters

Yufei Liu et al.

Summary: This paper introduces an array of discrete-time coupled complex-valued neural networks with random system parameters and time-varying delays, and solves synchronization and state estimation problems using Lyapunov stability theory and Kronecker product. The proposed synchronization criterion and state estimator design are shown to be effective through numerical simulations.

Specific Features of Operation of Distributed Generation Facilities Based on Gas Reciprocating Units in Internal Power Systems of Industrial Entities

Pavel Ilyushin et al.

Summary: The creation of a decentralized low-carbon energy infrastructure is a major trend in the electricity industry of many countries. Distributed generation facilities (DGs) based on gas reciprocating units (GRUs) are constructed by industrial entities to efficiently utilize secondary energy resources and minimize environmental impact. However, the design features of modern GRUs should be considered to prevent damage and excessive shutdowns when connecting them to internal power systems.

Calculating the sequence of stationary modes in power distribution networks of Russia for wide-scale integration of renewable energy based installations

Pavel Ilyushin et al.

Summary: The trend of decentralized power generation with renewable energy sources integrated into power distribution networks is on the rise globally. Current challenges include the inability to equip all network control centers with systems to automatically calculate operational changes, and the importance of properly estimating reactive capacity to prevent voltage drops and instability. The application of software to calculate stationary operating modes can help analyze changes in power distribution and the impact of voltage control devices and compensation equipment in maintaining stable operation.

Testing Photovoltaic Power Plants for Participation in General Primary Frequency Control under Various Topology and Operating Conditions

Andrey Rylov et al.

Summary: The energy transition in Russia involves developing a digital decentralized low-carbon energy infrastructure with renewable-based generating plants as its main elements. Findings from an analysis of current regulatory and technical documents indicate that all photovoltaic power plants must participate in the general primary frequency control for effective energy flow management.
