Monica Saumoy et al.

Summary: The review of endoscopic gallbladder drainage techniques in acute cholecystitis patients showed lower rates of adverse events and improved quality of life compared to traditional methods. However, clinical considerations are important in choosing treatment options, requiring a multidisciplinary approach for therapeutic decision-making. Further improvements in techniques and training should lead to wider acceptance and dissemination of these treatment options.
