Synergistic Approach toward Erbium-Passivated Triple-Anion Organic-Free Perovskite Solar Cells with Excellent Performance for Agrivoltaics Application

M. Bilal Faheem et al.

Summary: All-inorganic perovskite solar cells (IPSCs) have attracted significant attention due to their stability against degradation factors. This study focuses on the development of an organic-free IPSC with enhanced carrier diffusion and reduced grain boundaries. By utilizing inorganic carrier selective layers, the trap-state densities within the perovskite bulk were suppressed and the VOC loss due to halide segregation was contradict.

Characterisation of electrospun PS/PU polymer blend fibre mat for oil sorption

Muftau J. Akanbi et al.

Summary: The electrospun polystyrene (PS) fibre mat has great potential as an oil sorbent due to its high sorption capacity and oil-water selectivity. However, poor mechanical properties have limited its use in such applications. By blending polystyrene (PS) and thermoplastic polyurethane (PU) fibres in different ratios, a balance between sorption capacity and mechanical behavior can be achieved.

Influence of different concentrations of 4-tert-butyl-pyridine in a gel polymer electrolyte towards improved performance of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC)

Norshahirah Mohamad Saidi et al.

Summary: The study found that adding 4-tert-butyl-pyridine (TBP) can increase the open-circuit voltage of dye-sensitized solar cells, thereby enhancing photovoltaic conversion efficiency. Under specific conditions, the gel polymer electrolyte sample containing 3 wt% TBP exhibited the best photovoltaic performance.

Mechanical Property of Polypropylene Gels Associated with That of Molten Polypropylenes

Tetsu Ouchi et al.

Summary: This study aims to understand the mechanical relationship between PP gels and solid PPs without solvent, finding mechanical similarities between molten PPs and PP gels. Gelation of sPP and iPP was observed when dissolved in tetralin. Interestingly, the storage modulus of sPP gel was higher than that of iPP gel at low PP concentration.
