Environmental Public Interest Litigation in China: Findings from 570 Court Cases Brought by NGOs, Public Prosecutors and Local Government

Less pollution under a more centralized environmental system: Evidence from vertical environmental reforms in China

The findings indicate that these reforms resulted in a 10.6% reduction in SO2 emissions and a 9.6% decrease in the installation of coal boilers. Additionally, firms located near county borders were more affected by these reforms.

Can the green credit policy stimulate green innovation in heavily polluting enterprises? Evidence from a quasi-natural experiment in China

These results suggest that the Green Credit Policy can promote green innovation in HPEs by imposing credit constraints, facilitating green transformation in an emerging economy.

Green technology innovation and financial development: Do environmental regulation and innovation output matter?
