Summary: This study documents the patch testing results of the North American Contact Dermatitis Group (NACDG) from 2019 to 2020. Among 4121 tested patients, 69.7% had at least 1 positive/allergic patch test reaction and 51.2% were diagnosed with allergic contact dermatitis (ACD). The most common positive allergens were nickel, methylisothiazolinone (MI), fragrance mix (FM) I, hydroperoxides of linalool (HPL), and benzisothiazolinone (BIT). The prevalence of certain allergens increased compared to the previous reporting period.
