Discontinuous Event-Triggered Control for Local Stabilization of Memristive Neural Networks With Actuator Saturation: Discrete- and Continuous-Time Lyapunov Methods

Yingjie Fan et al.

Summary: This article investigates the local stabilization problem for memristive neural networks with communication bandwidth constraints and actuator saturation. A discontinuous event-trigger scheme is proposed to reduce triggering times and save communication resources. The design of a novel relaxed piecewise functional and the use of Lyapunov methods result in the establishment of stabilization criteria. Optimization schemes are also provided to enhance control gain and estimate admissible initial conditions. Comparison results validate the superiority of the proposed method.

Memory-Based Event-Triggered Control for Global Synchronization of Chaotic Lur'e Systems and Its Application

Yanyan Ni et al.

Summary: In this article, a memory-based event-trigger scheme is proposed to address the global synchronization problem of a class of systems. By considering historical state information and incorporating memory and decaying terms, the proposed scheme optimizes the triggering mechanism and improves the efficiency of sampled data transmission.

Exponential synchronization of chaotic Lur'e systems with time-triggered intermittent control

Qingzhi Wang et al.

Summary: This paper introduces time-triggered intermittent control (TIC) to investigate the exponential synchronization issue of chaotic Lur'e systems. By utilizing a time-triggered mechanism and constructing a mixed Lyapunov functional, an exponential synchronization criterion is obtained, and two performance indexes are given. Simulation results demonstrate the superiority of TIC over intermittent control (IC) and sampled-data control (SC).

Adaptive neural network asymptotic control design for MIMO nonlinear systems based on event-triggered mechanism

Yongchao Liu et al.

Summary: This article introduces an adaptive neural network event-triggered asymptotic tracking control strategy for multi-input and multi-output nonlinear systems with state constraints and unknown dynamics. It employs barrier Lyapunov function to ensure the prescribed state constraints and utilizes neural networks to address unknown dynamics. The asymptotic tracking controller is recursively constructed using a bound estimation method, smooth functions, and backstepping technique. Additionally, an event-triggered mechanism is introduced to reduce data transmission.

Exponential stabilization of chaotic systems based on fuzzy time-triggered intermittent control

Shuo Peng et al.

Summary: The study investigates the exponential stabilization of chaotic systems using fuzzy time-triggered intermittent control (FTIC). A mathematical description of FTIC is presented for the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model representing a chaotic system. The study establishes an exponential stabilization theorem using a novel mixed Lyapunov functional, and considers the amount of transmitted data and the cost function as performance indexes.

Time-triggered intermittent control of continuous systems

Qingzhi Wang et al.

Summary: This article introduces a new time-triggered intermittent control (TIC) method and establishes a mathematical model based on a new time-triggered mechanism. By introducing a mixed Lyapunov functional, a stability criterion for continuous systems with TIC is obtained, and two methods for designing TIC are proposed. The differences between TIC and sampled-data control (SC) are compared, and an example is provided for illustration.
