Green synthesis and properties of silver nanoparticles in sulfobutylether-β-cyclodextrin aqueous solution

Guido Angelini et al.

Summary: In this study, spherical and monodisperse silver nanoparticles were successfully obtained in aqueous solution at neutral pH using an eco-friendly approach. The SBE-β CD molecules were found to act as stabilizers, preventing aggregation of the AgNPs in solution. Additionally, the dissolution of the nanoparticles was tested through oxidation in the Fenton-like reaction.
