The Minimal Clinically Important Difference in Glaucoma Medication Adherence: Interviews of Glaucoma Experts

Ajay Kolli et al.

Summary: Poor adherence to glaucoma medications is associated with progressive vision loss. Many interventions have been tried to increase adherence, but the clinically significant level of increased adherence remains unknown. Through interviews with glaucoma experts, a hypothesized minimal clinically important difference (MCID) for glaucoma medication adherence of between 15-20% was suggested, taking into consideration factors such as cost of intervention and physician burden.
