In this study, the patterns exhibited by integrated neutron-proton interactions (V-NP) were investigated. The study found systematic differences among particle-particle, hole-hole, hole-particle, and particle-hole cases. A simple formula for V-NP was proposed, which showed approximate linearity with NnNp. The observed ordering of V-NP, with particle-particle case being the largest, hole-hole case being in between, and particle-hole and hole-particle cases being the smallest, was explained in terms of the dominant part of V-NP originating from symmetry energy and refinement involving the shell correction in the mass formulas.
In this study, we investigate the patterns exhibited by integrated neutron-proton interactions (denoted as V-NP) that exhibit systematic differences among particle-particle, hole-hole, hole-particle, and particle-hole cases. A simple formula of V-NP is proposed to be in approximate linearity with NnNp. This formula yields regular patterns V-NP of that are highly consistent with those previously extracted according to binding energies. The observed ordering of V-NP, i.e., V-NP of the particle-particle case is the largest, V-NP of the hole-hole case is in-between, and of V-NP of the particle-hole and hole-particle cases is the smallest, is explained in terms of the dominant part of V-NP originating from symmetry energy and refinement involving the shell correction in the mass formulas.
