Although the revised recommendations for lung cancer screening in the US offer potential benefits, members of the National Lung Cancer Roundtable warn of upcoming challenges. They stress the importance of a patient-centered approach that includes shared decision-making, improved access to care and navigation, and streamlined systems of care.
