Silver nanoparticles formulations for healing traumatic injuries in oral mucosa of rats

Gabriella Curtolo et al.

Summary: The study evaluated different formulations of 1% silver nanoparticles for treating traumatic lesions in oral mucosa of rats. Solid silver was found to be the most effective in healing oral lesions by controlling inflammation and oxidative stress, and promoting angiogenesis and tissue formation.
