Preliminary evidence of an endangered species benefiting from moderate climate warming: A palaeolimnological study of the charophyte Lychnothamnus barbatus

Michal Brzozowski et al.

Summary: This research analyzed the effects of climate warming and human pressure on the L. barbatus population. It demonstrated the historical presence of L. barbatus in Lake Kuznickie and suggested a positive impact of climate warming on the contemporary recovery of this charophyte. The study provides insights into appropriate management and conservation practices for lakes with L. barbatus populations.
