Summary: This paper rigorously investigates the problem of active disturbance rejection control for nonlinear systems subject to uncertainties and dead-zone input. Utilizing an extended state observer (ESO) and a switched dynamic parameter estimation law, the paper separates the dead-zone model from the total uncertainty and estimates the parameters of dead-zone online. The theoretical analysis of stability shows that the closed-loop system has multi-time scale convergence properties.

Summary: The paper introduces the output feedback stabilization of a first-order hyperbolic equation with multi-point nonlocal term by boundary control. A boundary state feedback controller is designed using the backstepping method, ensuring exponential stability and constructing output feedback control based on an infinite-dimensional observer. The resulting closed-loop system is proven to be exponentially stable using operator semigroup theory, and the validity of the proposed controller is demonstrated through numerical simulations.

Summary: This article investigates the vibration and disturbance rejection problem of a wind turbine tower under external perturbations. The tower dynamics is described by a nonhomogeneous Euler-Bernoulli beam model, and the dissipativity of the system is achieved through a boundary feedback control solution. A Lyapunov-based stability analysis is conducted to demonstrate that the deflection of the tower remains uniformly bounded even in the presence of external disturbances. The extended Filippov framework and Galerkin approximation scheme are utilized to handle the existence of solutions to the system with a discontinuous control input. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

Summary: This paper proposes a framework for MR-based DSSL using SLFNN, deriving algorithms to solve the problem of labeled and unlabeled data distributed over a communication network. The DSSL-SLFNN framework allows nodes to exchange only local coefficients with neighbors, ensuring privacy preservation in a fully distributed manner. Several simulations demonstrate the efficiency of the framework and algorithms derived in the study.

Summary: This paper discusses the design problem of output feedback fuzzy controllers for a class of nonlinear coupled systems using observer-based feedback control technique. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the proposed observer-based fuzzy controller are developed for ensuring the exponential stability of the augmented closed-loop system, and a local algorithm for solving the bilinear matrix inequalities is proposed. Numerical simulation results are provided to support the proposed design method.

Summary: In this article, the robust output regulation problem of linear systems is studied using an event-triggered output feedback control law, which is implemented through an output-based triggering mechanism. The solvability of the problem is summarized by internal model design, and it is shown that solving the problem with an event-triggered control law does not lead to the Zeno phenomenon and prevents the interevent time from approaching zero as time tends to infinity.
