Scenario simulations of China's natural gas consumption under the dual-carbon target

Jingjing Fan et al.

Summary: This paper analyzes the trends of China's natural gas consumption and carbon emissions in the future under the dual-carbon target, using a forecasting model. The results indicate that China's primary energy demand will peak around 2040, carbon dioxide emissions will peak in 2030, and net zero carbon emissions will be achieved in 2057 or 2059.

From low carbon to carbon neutrality: A bibliometric analysis of the status, evolution and development trend

Zheng Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper conducts a bibliometric analysis on the topic of carbon neutrality to reveal the research progress and evolution of research hotspots. The findings show that carbon neutrality research is abundant at both macro and micro levels. Low carbon development is the premise, and emission reduction and carbon sinks are the basis of carbon neutrality. The degree of research varies significantly among countries, with China having the highest number of publications. Carbon neutrality requires a comprehensive analysis of technology, economy, and society. Carbon taxes and carbon markets are important economic mechanisms, while research on negative carbon technologies and renewable energy is growing rapidly. Carbon market, negative carbon technology, circular economy, and green energy will be the focus of future research.

An estimation variance reduction-guided adaptive Kriging method for efficient time-variant structural reliability analysis

Zhouzhou Song et al.

Summary: This paper proposes an estimation variance reduction-guided adaptive Kriging method (VARAK) for time-variant reliability analysis. The method considers the correlation between time trajectories and introduces a new stopping criterion to improve computational efficiency and accuracy. Experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve fast convergence of estimated failure probability to the true value and appropriately terminate the computation to avoid oversampling when accuracy is high enough.

Numerical study on optimal structural parameters of train wind barrier based on orthogonal design

Han Yan et al.

Summary: This study investigates the influence of wind barrier structural parameters on the average pressure coefficient difference on a train under crosswinds. The height, ventilation ratio, and distance to the train were considered as factors, and an orthogonal design was employed for numerical simulations. The results showed that the ventilation ratio had the greatest impact on the pressure coefficient difference, followed by the height of the wind barrier. The distance to the train had a relatively small influence. The optimal values for the ventilation ratio and height were determined to be 20% and 110 mm, respectively. These findings provide significant guidance for the structural design of wind barriers.
