High-sensitive NO2 sensor based on p-NiCo2O4/n-WO3 heterojunctions

The sensor showed higher response, shorter response/recovery time, good linearity, stable repeatability and brilliant selectivity at 150 degrees C. The enhanced gas sensitivity of the sensor may be due to the unique microstructure of NiCo2O4/-WO3 and the p-n heterojunction formed between the two materials.

Conductometric NO2 gas sensor based on Co-incorporated MoS2 nanosheets for room temperature applications

Summary: In this study, MoS2 and cobalt incorporated MoS2 were demonstrated to enhance the sensing response and rapid recovery for toxic gas detection at room temperature. The Co-incorporated (7 at%) MoS2 showed a 546.6% enhancement in response compared to pristine MoS2 for 100 ppm of NO2 gas. The presence of enhanced edge site in the Co-incorporated samples contributed to excellent gas adsorption and increased response towards NO2 gas molecules. The fabricated device exhibited 70% stability.

MXene modulated SnO2 gas sensor for ultra-responsive room-temperature detection of NO2

Rapid and accurate detection of highly toxic NO2 gas based on catkins biomass-derived porous In2O3 microtubes at low temperature

PdO and PtO loaded WS2 boosts NO2 gas sensing characteristics at room temperature

High gas sensor performance of WO3 nanofibers prepared by electrospinning

Modified WO3 nanosheets by N-GO nanocomposites to form NO2 sensor

Summary: In this study, WO3 nanosheets were synthesized and decorated with different percentages of N-GO nanocomposites for gas sensing purposes. The optimal operational temperature was found to be 200 degrees C, with the highest response signal and recovery time for WO3-N-GO 6% at 200 ppm concentration being 90 s and 205 s, respectively. By selecting the optimum percentage of N-GO nanocomposites, sensors can be fabricated with the highest response to NO2 or CO.
