Fe3O4@C 3D foam for strong low-frequency microwave absorption

Li Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, Fe3O4@C 3D foam was prepared and its microwave attenuation performances and mechanisms were studied. By adjusting the content of Fe3O4@C 3D foam in paraffin composites, the low-frequency microwave attenuation capacity could be effectively optimized. This method provides a new perspective for preparing lightweight and high performance low-frequency microwave absorbing materials.

Hierarchical CoFe2O4@PPy hollow nanocubes with enhanced microwave absorption

Xiaohu Ren et al.

Summary: In this work, hierarchically hollow CoFe2O4/polypyrrole nanocubes with enhanced electromagnetic characteristics for MW absorption were fabricated. The electromagnetic characteristics can be adjusted by regulating the proportion of polypyrrole. The outcomes demonstrate that the as-prepared composites have outstanding MW absorbing ability and are expected to be potential MW absorbers for extensive applications.
