Experimental comparison between Nb2O5- and TiO2-based photoconductive and photogating GFET UV detector

Zahra Sadeghi Neisiani et al.

Summary: By adding graphene to a photoconductive photodetector with a Nb2O5 absorber layer and utilizing the photogating effect, the responsivity of the photodetector is significantly enhanced. The Nb2O5 layer is responsible for light detection, while graphene improves the responsivity through the photogating effect. The performance of Nb2O5 photodetectors is compared to that of TiO2 photodetectors and shows better figures of merit (FOMs).

Responsivity enhancement of a PtSi photodetector with graphene by the photogating effect

Amir Hossein Mehrfar et al.

Summary: By adding graphene to the platinum silicide (PtSi) photodetector and utilizing the photogating effect, the responsivity of the PtSi photodetector is significantly enhanced. In this photodetector, the PtSi layer acts as a light detector, while graphene increases the responsivity through the photogating effect. The responsivity of the PtSi photodetector with graphene is measured to be 1.5 A/W at an optical power of 13.6 mu W. A comparison is made between the responsivity of the PtSi photodetector with and without graphene, showing a much-improved responsivity when graphene is added.

Exposome extrinsic factors in the tropics: The need for skin protection beyond solar UV radiation

Marcelo de Paula Correa et al.

Summary: This study aimed to quantify human exposure to environmental factors during routine daily activities and investigate the relationship between environmental factors and skin health. The study found that in most areas of Brazilian cities, people may be exposed to environmental factors such as UV radiation, temperature, and humidity, which could lead to skin damage.
