Modulation of mutagenicity in Salmonella typhimurium and antioxidant properties and antiproliferative effects of fractions from Cassia fistula L. on human cervical HeLa and breast MCF-7 cancer cells

Sandeep Kaur et al.

Summary: The study demonstrated that the ethyl acetate fraction (CaLE) of Cassia fistula leaf extract exhibited potent inhibitory effects against mutagenicity induced by 2-aminofluorene, along with significant antioxidant and antiproliferative potential. Additionally, the fraction showed anti-cancer properties by inducing apoptosis in HeLa cancer cells.
