Summary: Delays and disparities in treatment for breast cancer have a negative impact on patient outcomes. This study examines the relationship between delays and disparities, and provides a tool to predict the risk of treatment delay based on patient socioeconomic factors. The results show that factors such as race, ethnicity, income, education, and insurance status can affect the timeliness of care. A nomogram is also created to predict the risk of preoperative delay.
