Assessment and prioritisation of Healthcare 4.0 implementation in hospitals using Quality Function Deployment

Guilherme Luz Tortorella et al.

Summary: This study proposes a problem-oriented methodology, combining different techniques to prioritize the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies in hospitals. Through case studies in a Brazilian public hospital and a private hospital in India, the method was found to support the systemic integration of I4.0 technologies into healthcare organisations, regardless of hospital ownership, by ranking digital applications based on their potential to solve identified problems.

A Granular Computing-Driving Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic Method for Supporting Large-Scale Group Decision Making

Yuanhang Zheng et al.

Summary: This article proposes a new hesitant fuzzy linguistic method to handle hesitant and uncertain preference information provided by decision makers, improving the consistency of preference matrices by characterizing them with granular linguistic preference matrices. By designing a multiplicative consistency index, calculating thresholds, constructing models, and developing algorithms, the method integrates assessment information to derive final decision-making results, demonstrating its reasonability and validity through comparative studies and simulation experiments.

The evaluation of mobile health apps: A psychological perception-based probabilistic linguistic belief thermodynamic multiple attribute decision making method

Mingwei Wang et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a probabilistic linguistic belief thermodynamic method for evaluating mobile health Apps. The method considers decision makers' perceived values for linguistic terms, quantifies linguistic terms based on prospect theory, and uses entropy and exergy indicators for comprehensive evaluation. Through a non-linear programming model, attribute weights are determined, and Dempsters' combination rule is used for uncertain linguistic evaluation information aggregation.

Three-way decisions based multi-attribute decision making with probabilistic dominance relations

Wenjie Wang et al.

Summary: Multi-attribute decision making (MADM) is a crucial part of modern decision sciences, with three-way decisions (3WD) being able to reduce decision risks and improve accuracy compared to traditional two-way decisions (2WD). This paper presents a new 3WD-MADM model based on probabilistic dominance relations, and validates its effectiveness through comparative and experimental analyses.

A novel approach to relative importance ratings of customer requirements in QFD based on probabilistic linguistic preferences

Yinfeng Du et al.

Summary: Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a customer-oriented tool for product/service design, using diverse team members to develop new or improved products/services to maximize customer satisfaction. Determining the relative importance ratings of customer requirements is essential in QFD application and is often seen as a multiple attribute decision making problem. This study introduces the use of probabilistic linguistic term sets to reflect hesitancy and preference degrees of evaluators, and explores a novel MADM technique based on probabilistic linguistic preferences.
