Clinical Outcomes of Anterolateral Ligament Reconstruction or Lateral Extra-articular Tenodesis Combined With Primary ACL Reconstruction: A Systematic Review With Meta-analysis

Bo-Ram Na et al.

Summary: A systematic review and meta-analysis found that combining AEAP with primary ACLR can improve rotational stability and reduce the risk of graft failure and pivot-shift grades. There was a slight improvement in subjective function scores with both AEAP techniques, but compared to LET, ALLR appeared to be more beneficial in improving rotational stability.
