Zhiyuan Wang et al.

Summary: This study designs a convolutional neural network (CNN) to accurately recognize two orthogonally polarized orbital angular momentum (OAM) modes from speckle patterns at the exit end of a multimode fiber (MMF). Even when the speckle patterns are cropped to only 1/64 of the original patterns, the recognition accuracy of the designed neural network remains higher than 98%.

Ming-Zhong Ai et al.

Summary: In this experimental study, deep reinforcement learning (DRL) is investigated as an artificial intelligence approach for controlling quantum systems. The results show that DRL can explore fast and robust digital quantum controls with operation time analytically hinted by shortcuts to adiabaticity. The experiment demonstrates that DRL outperforms analytical methods in terms of gate operation time, energy cost, and fidelity under time-varying stochastic errors, presenting a computer-inspired framework for quantum control.

Reduced order model for unsteady aerodynamic performance of compressor cascade based on recursive RBF

Jiawei Hu et al.

Summary: The RRBF model demonstrates higher accuracy in identifying aerodynamic parameters of the compressor cascade under unsteady conditions but lower accuracy for strongly nonlinear characteristics. The ASA-RRBF model enhances overall prediction accuracy and generalization ability under linear unsteady conditions, particularly for predicting dimensionless static pressure with strong nonlinear characteristics. Additionally, the ASA-RRBF model improves prediction accuracy without significantly increasing time consumption compared to the RRBF model, showing better performance in predicting linear hysteresis of dimensionless static pressure under harmonic conditions.
